Cement Mixer and Concrete Truck Washing

Concrete splatter is easy to wash off fresh and very hard to get off once it cures. Regular washing at your plant or yard keeps mixer trucks from building up layers of hardened concrete.

What we wash on a mixer

Regular washing prevents build-up

Splatter that's washed off the same day comes off easily. Left for weeks, it cures into a crust that adds weight, hides damage and needs chipping or chemical removal. A regular wash schedule, often weekly, keeps mixer trucks in good shape.

At your plant

We wash at your batch plant or yard after the trucks finish pours, including evenings. Hot water and pressure handle fresh splatter and road grime.

Note: heavy, cured concrete build-up may need a specialist removal service before regular washing can keep up. Tell us what the trucks look like and we'll be straight about it.

Questions

Can you remove hardened concrete from a mixer?

Regular pressure washing removes fresh splatter and light build-up. Heavy cured concrete may need a specialist removal service first.

How often should mixer trucks be washed?

Ideally after every working day, or at least weekly, so splatter never has time to cure.

Do you wash at batch plants?

Yes, as long as there's safe access and room to work.
